Nice concept, great art, but...

Seriously, no gameplay AT ALL. I just got nearly 4 million, unlocked all the medals except the last one, and all I had to do was save up for the tank and maintain momentum with the AK. It's a great concept, but it needs to be much more interactive; perhaps by making the guns more versatile, or making the "obstacles" more varied in their effects. A target-based minigame could also improve replayability, which this game really needs. Still better than 90% of the games on NG, so please don't think I'm only being negative.

There's Not Enough Stuff Like This

Great concept, accessible format, and hugely informative in a very subtle way. I would like to see the same concept and format applied to a more specific subject; the solar system or a single atom, for example. I think that would also be interesting and it might annoy syswhocares(?), who shouldn't vote stuff down because it wasn't what he thought it was like a daft twat.

Love It

I've beaten actual, paid-for-with-cash RPGs quicker and less enjoyably than this game. To everyone who says it's too hard, can't beat boss X, blah blah blah, THE GAME IS NOT THE PROBLEM, YOU ARE. The minigames could be games in and of themselves, and the script is consistantly funny and engaging. Btw I've got 40 medals which show in the game but not under the game window. Anyone know why?

How It Should Be Done

All the rest of you banging out the same standard metal renditions of SNES classics, get your pen and paper out and take yourself some notes. This does what it says on the tin, which is itself metal, the single word METAL written upon't with lasers from the future, themselves made of innumerable smaller lasers, fired from the collapsing core of a star of pure metal, formed by the long dead remains of our future robot masters (who would now be our future selves former masters), through the centre of which is buried The Eternal Sword Of The One True Odin, slicing in twain the very gravity of said star, the incomprehendable physics of which fires a single atom of said sword into said tin and dropping it right on YOUR TINY FUCKING FLESHLING BRAINS, where it will expunge all traces of the slightest incling of a fleeting reminiscence of any thought you may have had that Simon Cowell has ever done anything good for music ever. Having said that, the bass frequencies are occasionally fuzzy. HQ version...?

TheJonnyDeath responds:

Thanks!

Also, the fuzzy bass frequencies is a problem I had with the majority of my 2009 recordings (this one being 2009), the best quality version of this can be found at the GaMetal site at http://JonnyDeath.com/gametal.html

If it's not a sword, put it down.
